Kevin Hakansson graduated from the University of Massachusetts Lowell with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, Music Business concentration. Kevin earned his Juris Doctorate in 2021 from New York Law School. While in law school, Kevin served as a teaching assistant, research assistant, teaching fellow, and as a Notes and Comments Editor for the New York Law School Law Review. He also served as a legal intern for the Honorable Freda Wolfson, then the Chief United States District Judge for the District of New Jersey.
After graduating from law school, Kevin practiced commercial litigation at a large regional law firm in New Jersey before joining Hatfield Schwartz.
Kevin's practice will focus primarily on litigation defense and counseling for employers facing complex legal issues that span the spectrum of labor and employment matters.
Kevin was born and raised in Massachusetts. Outside of the office, Kevin enjoys spending time with his family, live music, vinyl record collecting, and disc golf.
