Sai Kalvala earned her Juris Doctorate from Rutgers Law School in 2021, where she was named senior editor of the Rutgers Race and Law Review.
While earning her JD, Sai was accepted to The Sonia & Celina Sotomayor Judicial Internship Program and subsequently served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Diccia T. Pineda-Kirwan, Supreme Court of the State of New York, Nassau County. She also served a tenure as a summer law clerk for the Honorable Iris Santiago-Flores, Administrative Judge of the Equal Employment Opportunities Commission Federal Sector, Hearings Unit.
After graduating from law school, Sai served as a law clerk to the Honorable Sander D. Friedman, J.S.C., Burlington County Civil Division. Before joining Hatfield Schwartz, Sai practiced management-side employment law at an international labor and employment firm.
Outside the office, Sai and her husband like to travel, try new restaurants, and hike.
